Ferrous futures remain volatile
Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures edged up slowly on Wednesday, but still continued to oscillate in a small range of the last half-month, Kallanish notes.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the most-traded October 2023 rebar contract closed CNY 35/tonne higher than Tuesday at CNY 3,713/t ($509/t), but the same contract for HRC gained CNY 22/t to CNY 3,870/t.
