Ferrous futures fall at a slower pace
After touching five-month lows on Monday, Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures on Tuesday dived deeper, albeit at a slower pace than the previous two trading days, Kallanish notes.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the most-traded October 2023 rebar contract closed at CNY 3,685/t ($532/t), CNY 29/tonne lower than Monday, and the same contract for HRC lost CNY 110/t to CNY 3,773/t.
