Ferrous futures hit multi-month lows
Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures on Monday fell further and hit four-month and two-month lows respectively, due to weak spot prices and concerns over falling raw materials, Kallanish notes.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the most-traded October 2023 rebar contract closed CNY 82/tonne lower than Friday at CNY 3,907/t ($568/t), and the same contract for HRC lost CNY 69/t to CNY 4,003/t.
