Ferrous futures stay put, await new changes
Markets remained calm on Monday, Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures thus sat tight and waited for new changes to give direction, Kallanish notes.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the most-traded May 2023 rebar contract closed CNY 6/tonne lower than Friday at CNY 4,049/t ($597/t), while the same contract for HRC gained CNY 11/t to CNY 4,095/t.
