Ferronickel Holdings moves into steel in Philippines
Global Ferronickel Holdings, Inc. (FNI) is exploring value-added opportunities by diversifying into steel processing, it says in a statement to the Philippine Stock Exchange, monitored by Kallanish.
The second largest nickel producer in the Philippines, FNI says that it is taking the step “… given the fast-growing steel demand in the country propelled by local infrastructure developments.”
