Ferrochrome prices increase for second quarter: Merafe
The European benchmark ferrochrome price for the second quarter has been settled at $2.16/lb, a 20% increase from Q1, advises South Africa’s Merafe Resources Ltd (MRL) in a stock exchange filing.
MRL's ferrochrome production recorded on-year increases in the fourth quarter and full-year 2021 of 5.1% to 102,000 tonnes and 42.7% to 379,000t respectively.
