Ferrexpo increases output, exports remain troubled amid war
Ukraine-based Ferrexpo’s iron ore pellet production increased in January-June to 1.96 million tonnes, up by 16% compared to the second half of 2022, Kallanish notes. Output in the second quarter alone jumped 18% on-quarter to 1.06mt.
Sales for Q2 totalled 1.2mt, up by 45% on-quarter, and were at 2.1mt in H1 2023, a 15% increase compared to H2 2022.
