Ferrexpo increases first-half output, sees stock decline
Swiss-headquartered iron ore mining and pellet producer Ferrexpo with assets in Ukraine increased production of pellet in the first half of the year. The company produced 5.58 million tonnes, up by 4.6% year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
Ferrexpo’s total production of 65% Fe content pellet in H1 increased by 7.1% to 5.5mt, but output of 62% Fe pellet decreased by -54.4% to 98,000t.
