Fenix 1H net profit drops on lower revenue
Australian iron ore producer Fenix Resources saw its net profit tumble 21.7% to AUD 10.93 million ($7.38m) in the first half ended 31 December, 2022, Kallanish notes.
The lower profit was in line with its revenue, which slipped 25.79% to AUD 85.04m in the first half from AUD 114.6m a year ago.
Fenix says it saw consistent production performance at the 100% owned Iron Ridge iron ore mine in Western Australia’s Mid-West.
