Feng Hsin cuts rebar prices
Taiwan’s Feng Hsin Iron and Steel has cut its rebar prices on a slow market and stubborn scrap costs, Kallanish understands.
On Monday, Feng Hsin lowered its domestic rebar prices by TWD 200/tonne ($6.6/t). The list price for its 12mm diameter base rebar is now at TWD 16,900/t, Taiwanese trading sources say. The mill has, however, decided to maintain its local scrap purchase price unchanged on-week.
