Feng Hsin cuts domestic scrap, rebar prices
Leading Taiwanese mill Feng Hsin Iron and Steel has lowered its domestic scrap procurement prices by TWD 200/tonne ($6.6/t) effective Monday, Taiwanese trading sources tell Kallanish.
Its domestic scrap procurement price for the equivalent of HMS 80:20 is at TWD 8,500/t in Taichung. The mill also cut its domestic rebar prices by TWD 300/t. Its list price for its 12mm diameter base rebar now stands at TWD 16,600/t ex-mill.
