Feng Hsin cuts domestic rebar and scrap prices
Taiwan’s Feng Hsin Iron & Steel lowered both its domestic rebar and scrap procurement prices early this week, Kallanish notes.
The Taiwanese mill's rebar list price for its #5 (5/8 inches or 15.875 mm nominal diameter base) rebar was lowered by TWD 200/tonne ($7/t) for the second consecutive week. Effective Tuesday, prices are down to TWD 17,400/t ex-works.
