Federacciai, unions express relief at tribunal Taranto decision
Italian steelmakers association Federacciai has expressed satisfaction over the Italian appeal court’s decision to let the former Ilva continue operating blast furnace number 2 at Taranto.
“Thanks to this decision the negotiation for the relaunch of the most important steel site in Italy can proceed,” Federacciai president Alessandro Banzato says in a note sent to Kallanish.
Earlier in 2019 the furnace was ordered to be closed down by a tribunal…
