French car output seen rising 2% in 2018
French passenger car output increased in February following the January hike. Last month the country’s output reached 168,897 units, up 4.3% year-on-year, French carmakers’ association CCFA confirms to Kallanish. Output in full-year 2017 grew by 4.7% y-o-y to 2.1 million units, as reported.
Production of light commercial vehicles below 5.1 tonnes in weight also increased, by 4.2% on-year in January to 204,715 units.
