FCA Poland production declines despite increased Fiat-500 demand
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Poland recorded a -1.5% on-year drop in production in 2018 to 259,448 vehicles. However, output of the Fiat 500 increased by 10,000 units after the firm started production of 14 types of this model due to higher demand.
The output, at FCA’s plant in Tychy, comprised 184,759 Fiat 500 units, 48,375 Lancia Ypsilon units and 26,314 Abartha 500 units.
