Falling oil prices bite into US OCTG market
US oil country tubular goods (OCTG) pricing held firm last week on the back of mill increases, but weak oil prices have some market sources questioning how long the strength will last.
Kallanish held its representative P110 domestic welded casing price Friday at $1,100-1,150/short ton. All prices are ex-works, domestic mill.
Most major domestic mills announced increases of $70-100/st in early January, about half of which has been collected.
