Merafe's third-quarter ferrochrome production halves
Merafe's attributable ferrochrome production from its South Africa-based joint venture with Glencore fell 21.3% on-year in the first nine months of 2023 to 225,000 tonnes, Kallanish notes.
Its third-quarter output plummeted 51.8% on-year to 40,000t, from 83,000t in Q3 2022, says Merafe, without giving sales or revenue figures.
