Egypt's rebar output, sales grow
Egypt recorded in February a 3.9% on-month rebar output increase to 671,600 tonnes, while domestic market sales rose 5.7% to 696,400t, according to the latest Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) data monitored by Kallanish.
Average February domestic rebar price was flat on-month at EGP 15,104/tonne, including 14% VAT, meaning $717/t excluding VAT.
