Exports lift Izostal's 2018 sales
Izostal’s revenue surged 54% on-year in 2018 to PLN 866 million ($227.6m), with domestic sales accounting for 92%. Net profit soared 74% to PLN 15.9m.
Polish gas pipeline operator Gaz-System accounted for 55.1% of revenue, as sales to this customer surged 97%. Pipemaker Ferrum accounted for 10.9% of sales.
Insulated pipe represented 63.7% of revenue, while products comprised 29.6%, steel structures 3.1% and insulating services comprised 1%.
