Exporters prepare to lift HRC prices in Vietnam
The Vietnamese hot rolled coil import market was in a lull last week due to the week-long Lunar New Year holiday, Kallanish understands. Vietnamese importers will be returning this week to a market which is seeing HRC prices spring up significantly. Higher raw material costs, including coking coal, and restocking activities in Europe, Turkey, the Middle East and Africa have caused a surge in global HRC markets.
