Ex-Hebei head indicted on corruption charges
Zhou Benshun, formerly Communist Party secretary of Hebei province, has formally been indicted on suspicion of taking bribes, officials said Thursday. As the top official in the steelmaking province, Zhou was seen as a barrier to reform of state-owned enterprises, Kallanish notes.
