Ex-China HRC price gap widens in GCC
The spread has widened between tier-one and tier-two price quotes for ex-China hot rolled coil in the Gulf Cooperation Council, leading buyers to believe that tier-one suppliers should reduce their quotes, notes Kallanish.
This week in the bloc, tier-one suppliers are offering 2mm SAE 1006 grade HRC at $635-645/t, from China for end-March/April dispatch, Taiwan for end-April/May, Japan for end-April/mid-May and India for March delivery.
