Evraz goes further downstream in railway wheel business
Russian steelmaker Evraz is going even deeper in its sales to the railway sector. The company tells Kallanish that it is to supply finished TSI wheelsets to European rail operators and freight wagon manufacturers.
Evraz will do this in tandem with Slovenian company SZ-VIT it says. Freight railway wheels produced at Evraz NTMK in Russia will be assembled into wheelsets at the SZ-VIT plant in Slovenia.
