Europe/Far East drive Turkey's January-May steel exports rise
Turkish steel exports increased 21.3% on-year to 8.3 million tonnes in January-May, driven by a surge in shipments to Europe and the Far East, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Steel Exporters' Association (CIB).
The overall value of these exports grew 38.7% y-o-y to $4.9 billion, CIB says in a statement.
