European tube prices are seen rising
European tube prices may have reached rock-bottom this month. Some price recovery is expected in the coming weeks, large and medium-sized re-rollers tell Kallanish at the Made in Steel trade-show in Milan.
The level of discount in France, Italy, Germany and Benelux is hovering around 41-42 points with some peaks at 43 points. Each point of discount equates to €10/tonne ($11.2/t), Kallanish notes.
