European tube sector becalms in uncertain market
European tube prices are stable compared to December but demand remains weak from the distribution sector as uncertainty slows the market, re-rollers and distributors tell Kallanish.
The situation is similar in Italy, Spain, Germany and France which all have a similar level of discount. Despite past attempts to reduce discounts, they are now in the range 39-41 points for most European countries, sources say.
