Southern European welded tube producers are again decreasing their discounts for European markets due to further increases in coil transaction and asking prices in Europe.
Market sources foresee a significant hot rolled coil shortage in the third quarter as material for Q3 deliveries is being purchased now. There are increasing reports of significant delays from European HRC producers.
