European tube discounts finally fall
European tube discounts are decreasing as most re-rollers are pushing up prices for their finished products following recent sharp increases in hot rolled coil prices in Europe.
The current tube price increase comes after a few months when re-rollers have struggled to try to push up prices but were unable to pass the increases downstream due to weak demand. The November price movement is having more success as European producers appear to be both more unanimous …
