European supply lifts Indian scrap imports in July
Indian imports of ferrous scrap under HS code 7204 rose 16.1% on-year in July to 686,515 tonnes, Kallanish learns from Indian commerce ministry data. The average value of imported obsolete scrap under HS code 720449 was $349/tonne versus $388/t in July 2018.
