European scrap looks set to soften
Large European recycling companies do not see scrap prices increasing further next month as signals in Europe and Turkey suggest some softening. In Italy, France, Spain and Germany a possible downward price adjustment of €20/tonne ($24) is envisaged by some mills, which are already negotiating a drop of €5-15/t for new contracts.
