European scrap suppliers expect rebound in prices
Scrap collection prices in Europe, which have fallen by around €20/tonne ($22/t) over the last two weeks and are standing at €170/t delivered, have begun to affect flow into yards negatively. Some collectors who have tried lower prices have had no success in supplying scrap. Consequently, most scrap suppliers think that scrap values have hit the floor.
