European scrap import/export contract prices decline
Further falls are expected for European scrap import/export prices from France and Germany into Italy and Spain in October contracts. This month, import prices have lost €20-30/tonne ($22-33/t) month-on-month depending on grade, traders and merchants tell Kallanish. Contracts are usually signed towards the 15th of each month.
