Import and export prices slide for European scrap
Import contract prices for scrap from France and Germany into Italy and Spain are falling by €20/tonne ($22.8/t) month-on-month, sources in the market tell Kallanish. This is in line with the January scrap price fall in all European countries' domestic markets.
