European hydrogen initiative foresees 53,000km pipeline by 2040
The European Hydrogen Backbone (EHB) initiative, which consolidates 23 European gas infrastructure companies, proposes a European hydrogen pipeline infrastructure of 53,000km by 2040, with further growth expected thereafter. The network covers 28 European countries and creates a diverse set of hydrogen import opportunities.
