European construction output remains strong in April
European construction sector activity remained strong in April, at levels close the highs of the beginning of 2011, according to the latest data from Eurostat monitored by Kallanish.
EU28 construction output in April was 2.7% above April 2016, with Eurozone activity recovering at an even faster rate of 3.2%. Building activity lead the recovery across Europe, with civil engineering construction still growing but at a slower rate than the general sector.
