European alloy surcharges fall for October
Alloy surcharges in Europe are decreasing again month-on-month in October as projected, after having fallen in August and September due to weakening nickel prices, market sources confirm to Kallanish.
September surcharges for stainless flats have fallen by €40-60/tonne ($46.8-70.2/t) on average versus those implemented a month prior and range between €1,503-1523/t.
