Europe slowdown affects SSAB third-quarter performance
Swedish steelmaker SSAB says that lowered demand for steel in Europe has adversely affected group operating results for the third quarter of 2019. In a statement sent to Kallanish, the company says however that its North American operations fared better, although operating profits fell in that region also.
