Europe drives Turkey's November CR flats import growth
Turkey's cold-rolled (CR) flat steel imports increased on-year in November 2017 thanks to a growth in procurement from Europe, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
November's imports rose 21.6% y-o-y to 132,974t, but were down -19.2% on-month. The overall average value/tonne of these imports increased to $929/tonne from $842/t a year ago.
