Europe increases steel packaging recycling
ArcelorMittal has highlighted recent data issued by the Association of European Producers of Steel for Packaging (APEAL) of which it is a member.
APEAL says that the recycling rate for steel packaging has increased by 2 percentage points from the previous year, to 79.5%. The all-time high rate is based on data from 2016, the steelmaker says.
