EU, US support Turkey's September hot-rolled flats exports
Turkish hot-rolled (HR) flat steel exports increased on-year in September, thanks again to a surge in shipments to the EU and the US, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
September HR flats exports went up 22.2% y-o-y to 224,767 tonnes, while their total value/tonne rose to $450/t from $417/t a year ago, according to calculations from TUIK data.
