EU tube discounts fall
Some European tube makers are decreasing their level of discounts for welded tubes in all European countries starting this week. This is due to the higher cost of hot rolled coils and lower availability since the anti-dumping duties were announced earlier this month.
The discounts in most European countries are 34-35 points on average, with each point equal to €6 or €8/t. In Italy and France discounts go as high as 37 points, in Germany they are at 33-…
