EU steel demand to maintain recovery momentum; worldsteel
Demand for finished steel in the EU is expected to maintain stable recovery momentum throughout 2016 and 2017, Kallanish learns from the World Steel Association (worldsteel). The association expects finished steel demand to increase by 1.4% year-on-year to 155 million tonnes in 2016 and by 1.7% y-o-y in 2017, when regional demand should reach 158mt.
