Turkey’s post-quota-change EU exports to rise $1 billion: Dalbeler
Turkish mills have received additional EU quotas following the EU’s banning of finished steel imports from Russia and Belarus and redistribution of Russian and Belarusian quotas to other countries.
Speaking to Bloomberg HT, Uğur Dalbeler, vice president of the Turkish Steel Exporters’ Association (CIB), says that a 15% increase in Turkey’s steel export quota to the EU will raise Turkey’s steel export value to the bloc by $1 billion.
