Estonia applies Russian steel, pig iron restrictions
Estonia has introduced restrictions on the import of goods from Russia, including steel and cast iron, effective 9 January, says the Tax and Customs Department of Estonia.
“The transitional period of sanctions imposed by the European Union on a number of consumer goods originating in the Russian Federation is ending, and their import into the European Union will be prohibited from Monday [9 January],” the department says.
