Esmark announces bid to acquire US Steel
Esmark Inc. on Monday joined the bidding to acquire US Steel, offering $35 cash per US Steel share, Kallanish learns.
Esmark chairman and ceo James P. Bouchard, who is a former US Steel vice president, says his Esmark team is “well positioned to come in and operate” the storied 122-year-old Pittsburgh-based steelmaker.
