ESL Steel bags iron ore block in Odisha
Vedanta entity ESL Steel has won the Odisha-based Nadidih iron ore block (BICO) at a premium of 95.6% in the Odisha mineral block auction.
Five companies participated in the auction of BICO, Kallanish notes. The mine is located in the Koira area of Sundargarh, Odisha. The entire leasehold area of 73.855 hectares has been explored up to the G2 level of exploration, says a market source.
