Erdemir's Q1 sales volume falls, revenue surges
Turkey's Erdemir posted a year-on-year decline in sales volume in the first quarter, while its consolidated revenue grew notably, Kallanish learns from the integrated steelmaker's earnings report.
The company's Q1 consolidated flat product sales declined -7.4% on-year to 1.75 million tonnes as domestic flats sales fell -10% to 1.5mt. Total longs sales went down -25% to 300,000t as domestic sales decreased -37% to 225,000t.
