Erdemir Group’s production, profit fall in 2019
Erdemir Group’s crude steel production in 2019 was down -6% compared to the previous year at 8.61 million tonnes. The group produced 9.1mt of crude steel in 2018, Kallanish notes.
According to Erdemir’s annual report, crude steel production at the Ereğli plant decreased by -9% to 3.07mt in 2019, while at İskenderun (Isdemir) it fell -4% to 5.54mt.
