Erdemir appoints new ceo
Turkish integrated flat and long steelmaker Erdemir has appointed Suleyman Savas Erdem as its new chairman and executive director with effect from 2 February.
Erdem replaces Omer Muzaffer Baktir, who has resigned as from 2 February "... to follow a new career path," he says in an Erdemir statement seen by Kallanish. Baktir stepped in on 6 January 2016, following the resignation of Ali Pandir.
