Erciyas posts profit decline despite revenue surge
Turkish pipemaker Erciyas Boru increased its first-half revenue by 181% on-year to TRY 4.3 billion ($215 million), Kallanish learns from the company’s standalone income statement.
Cost of sales, however, rose to $179m from $86m last year and net profit in the first half declined to $2.5m from $3.5m last year.
The company reported 137,000 tonnes of sales in January-June versus 69,000t a year earlier.
